Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing quality control activities related to packaging management and pest control, actively collaborating with internal functions (Production and Maintenance) to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards of the food manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities

Packaging Management

  1. Analyze the compliance of packaging used in the facility against standards.
  2. Enter analytical results related to packaging into the SAP management system.
  3. Manage relationships with suppliers in case of anomalies.
  4. Support production in addressing issues related to packaging, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities.
  5. Assist the Technical Packaging and Central Industrialization team during industrial trials.
  6. Propose improvement ideas and efficiency projects related to packaging.

Pest Monitoring

  1. Monitor the pest control company, verifying the effectiveness of interventions.
  2. Manage corrective actions suggested following inspections or detected anomalies.
  3. Coordinate with Production and Maintenance for the implementation of necessary corrective actions.
  4. Schedule disinfestation interventions based on the needs of the facility.
  5. Propose improvement ideas to optimize pest control management and prevent potential future issues.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Food Science and Technology or similar fields.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in quality control, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Knowledge of hygiene regulations and quality management systems (HACCP, BRC, IFS); familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  4. Competence in supplier management and analysis of packaging materials.
  5. Organizational skills: ability to prioritize, multi-task, work in teams, interface with different company departments, and problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
