Position Summary

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Biassono (MB) who will be responsible and accountable for customer management, operational management, quality performance, Health&Safety, Security and Environmental management of the AST ITA Plant. The Operations Manager will provide regular and appropriate performance information to STERIS Managers / Directors and ensure compliance to all relevant Company and legal regulations.

Duties

• Ensure safe operations of the plant and company by developing an effective safety culture and enforcing safety practices in compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
• In conjunction with the (Senior) Sales Managers, ensure the effective management of existing and new Customers and drive Customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership to ensure continuous improvement of business processes and activities in line with STERIS world‑class safety objectives and the Quality Management System.
• Manage and develop 14 staff, allocate resources and assign specific duties to achieve pre‑determined commercial and business objectives for the business in the plant.
• Ensure that the business operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives including LEAN 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies.
• Apply STERIS Values culture and ethos when managing the business, its Customers and staff.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree
