At Lilly, we are deeply committed to advancing care in Neuroscience. Our mission is to deliver innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and create a lasting, positive impact on society. We are seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager (NAM) to lead territory sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experience. The candidate will combine strong analytical and influencing skills to ensure the successful implementation of corporate strategies in their assigned territory, achievement of sales objectives, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

The candidate will collaborate with a highly skilled and integrated team comprising marketing, Alzheimer’s ecosystem managers, market access, corporate affairs, and medical professionals. The experience required will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy at both local and national levels.

The NAM will be responsible for understanding the Italian healthcare ecosystem, patient flow, and key decision makers, effectively launching and managing the business for Lilly’s Neuroscience team, focusing on approved assets within Alzheimer’s disease.

The NAM will lead local account planning across priority hospital accounts and regional healthcare structures, leveraging account and customer insights to and execute local strategies aligned with overall brand objectives.

At launch, and once all necessary training and compliance requirements have been met, the NAM will identify key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in target accounts, gain access and endorsement, and promote Lilly’s Neuroscience offering across the territory.

Close collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Ecosystem Manager (AEM) will be essential to map account readiness and define localized action plans to maximize opportunities in accounts that are ready or develop plans for those requiring further readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliantly achieve or exceed sales and new patient start targets through focused customer interactions, including face‑to‑face calls, meetings, and digital engagement.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise and product knowledge in the therapeutic area and relevant competitor products.
  • Understand brand HCP value propositions and Lilly resources, confidently positioning them with key customers and tailoring the value proposition to HCP needs.
  • Use business information to identify variances in local account performance and collaborate on tactical plans to maximize results.
  • Identify opportunities to involve other functions (marketing, medical, RWE, corporate affairs) to drive additional value.
  • Support HCPs in developing capabilities aligned with Lilly’s strategy for building lasting customer relationships.
  • Build relationships with key thought leaders and advocates within local territories.

  • Demonstrated capabilities in value‑based selling, key account management, and business planning.
  • Proven ability to execute peer‑to‑peer programs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing strategic priorities.
  • Strong evidence of personal accountability and resilience.
