A global engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical & Welding NDT Inspector for offshore projects in Italy. The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance initiatives, implement quality systems, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in offshore projects. Proficiency in English is essential for report writing and communication. This position offers opportunities to work on significant energy, oil, and gas projects.

Competenze

• 5+ years of work experience in mechanical or welding inspection.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Quality policy and Quality Manual in the management team.
• Conduct a Management review of needs and develop and implement a quality system.
• Assist the project management team and provide QA support as necessary.
• Ensure quality in all project activities verifying that they meet all the necessary quality standards.
• Coordinate all the quality related project activities.
• Implement programs to improve quality.
• Perform internal and external audits.
• Implement a document control system.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skill:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
• Work experience of 5+ years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience in offshore projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
