A leading multinational company in household components, located in Pordenone, is seeking an Associate to develop mechanical structures and manage Engineering BOM for new products. The ideal candidate holds a technical education, has strong 3D CAD knowledge, and is experienced in team collaboration. This is a full-time position offering growth in the industrial machinery manufacturing sector.

Competenze

• Technical education high school; plus: bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Mission

Develop the mechanical structure of new platforms for the BU Wet evaluating the best compromise in terms of quality, performances, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Define the best mechanical configuration according the technical specs evaluating similar product produced by competitors, dimensioning the mechanical components according the mechanical stress estimated to meet the technical specs keeping under control the cost of the product and also the feasibility related to the mass production;
• Create and manage the Engineering BOM during the product’s lifetime using the PLM related to the CAD to give the possibility to the logistic to create and maintain the Production BOM;
• Propose new components, materials, or technology to develop new products investigating the technology development that could be useful for our application in order to make easy the assembly process and reduce the cost of the components of the product;
• Manage the Component Approval Plan following all the activities related to the approval using the software CAP manager to keep tracked all the activities related to each new or modified component;
• Manage the samples working daily with the suppliers to have feedback and evaluate modifications in order to improve the components;
• Manage the mechanical structure of the platforms during its lifetime resolving all the obsolescence and updating the mechanical configurations to keep always up to date the product;
• Manage the coding of the new or reviewed components using the PLM and the ERP to keep always updated the products documentation.

Requirements

• Technical education high school; Plus: bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 3D CAD strong knowledge;
• PLM basic knowledge, ERP basic Knowledge;
• Used to international environment (mechanical FE analysis basic knowledge, CFD analysis basic knowledge, plastic injection molding FE analysis basic knowledge, 6 sigma design basic knowledge);
