We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer with a background in control-safety valves & process heat tracing.
The role involves the offering and selling of complete product solutions, aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Technical and commercial offer
- offers and sells complete product solutions;
- provides commercial and technical support to customers;
- provide the highest standards of customer service following company values and complying with Sales targets.
- Qualify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers’ application and operational needs.
- Prepare customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified, offering the best all-round solution.
- Follow-up on quotations with customers as agreed with the Area Sales Managers.
- Negotiate sales orders within agreed delegation of authority.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of quotation status.
- Ensure that purchase orders are commercially complete and accurate before processing for order entry in accordance with relevant procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide advice on technical solutions and benefits.
- Provide after-sales service to customers.
- Attending customer meetings as required.
- Ensure activities are carried out in line with agreed departmental KPIs.
- Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products and services.
- Comply with local and international GIS trade compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as GIS policy, with respect to all business activities.
Requirements:
Technical Background
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Control-Safety Valves & Process Heat Tracing background
- Electric Motor and Electric Components / Instrumentation would be considered a plus
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or project engineering or industrial field-plant service maintenance
Languages
- Fluent in Italian (mandatory)
- Fluent in English (mandatory)

- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills (Teamwork)
- Strong commercial attitude, capable of managing multi-products.
- Excellent Computer Skills - Microsoft and Product Sizing Software's
