A dynamic international company based in Rome is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to oversee all HR management while ensuring compliance with Italian labour laws. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in HR and a degree in Law or Labor Relations. The successful candidate will engage in employee relations, recruitment, and development in a vibrant team environment. Grupo Planeta is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its team in Rome, Italy. The role combines full HR management with compliance to Italian labour regulations in an international environment.
Monitor medical examinations and safety training.
Promote employee well‑being initiatives.
Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure data accuracy.
Ensure compliance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL).
Partner with managers to define hiring needs and manage recruitment cycles.
Guarantee a consistent candidate experience aligned with Rome Business School and PFU standards.
Coordinate contracts, tax/social‑security registration (INPS/INAIL).
Deliver structured induction programmes and onboarding initiatives.
Support goal‑setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration.
Coordinate training and development plans.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse turnover.
Manage severance (TFR) and Certificato Unico handover.
Bachelor’s degree in Law or Labor Relations.
At least 5 years as HR Generalist or HRBP in Italy, with full employee life‑cycle ownership.
Strong knowledge of Italian labour law.
Familiarity with CCNL negotiations.
Expertise in Categorie Protette (Law 68/1999).
Fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1). Spanish is a strong plus.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Business acumen and ability to anticipate legal/employee‑relations risks.
Influencing and coaching skills to support and challenge leaders.
Experience managing immigration procedures (permits, work visas).
Knowledge of compensation analytics or accounting basics.
Previous experience in an international academic or service‑sector environment.
