Overview

Our Client is an industrial company looking for an experienced and qualified Head of Finance. The ideal candidate is a highly qualified, strategic, and hands-on Finance Manager who will oversee the financial operations of the company's manufacturing facility. This role is critical to the company's continued success and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Italian tax, accounting, and reporting legislation.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Be hands-on in addressing issues and challenges with the team, not limited to providing strategic oversight.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support procurement activities and optimize cost management.
  • Play a crucial role in the management team, contributing to overall leadership and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Create a collaborative working environment, promoting open communication and teamwork across all departments.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (at least 10-15 years) in senior financial management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian tax, accounting, and reporting regulations.
