A leading pharmaceutical company located in Parma is seeking a qualified individual for its Accounting & Taxes Department. This role will be the primary contact for accounting and tax matters, managing a team and ensuring compliance with local regulations and GAAP. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in accounting and taxation, knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS, and proficiency in both Italian and Business English. Knowledge of Oracle ERP system is preferable.

Mansioni

• Oversee local accounting and taxes while ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and manage a team within the Accounting & Taxes Department.
• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Cooperate with auditors and tax authorities.
• Optimize financial and reporting processes.

Conoscenze

Experience in accounting and taxation

Knowledge of Italian GAAP

Knowledge of IFRS

Fluent in Italian

Fluent in Business English

Experience with Oracle ERP system

Formazione

Degree in business administration, finance or comparable field

The resource will be the main point of contact In Italy within the Accounting & Taxes Department, supervising all the activities of the team.

Main activities

• Responsibility for for local accounting and taxes as well as reporting in accordance with local GAAP, IFRS and tax purposes.
• Development and management of a team of people.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors and tax authorities.
• Optimization and further development of financial and reporting processes.

Skills

• Several years of experience in accounting and taxation, ideally in a management position.
• Sound knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with the Oracle ERP system.
• Fluent language skills in Italian and Business English.

Education

Degree in business administration, finance or a comparable field.
