Overview

Grow Quality Engineer Trainee Taranto – Vestas. Internship in Taranto with national and international scope, offering strong opportunities for professional development. Vestas Blades Italia S.R.L. operates a modern blade factory producing blades for onshore and offshore wind turbines. The team supports quality and process engineering within the production plant.

As an intern, you will work closely with engineers, the operations team, and stakeholders across the factory. This position offers insight into a potential future career as a mechanical/quality engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Support quality and process monitoring activities across production lines
  • Assist in optimizing technical processes with focus on efficiency, safety, and cost of poor quality
  • Contribute to problem-solving initiatives and root cause analysis
  • Assist in planning and management tasks with emphasis on process improvement and compliance
  • Collaborate with different departments across the Vestas value chain on ad hoc projects

You will also have the opportunity to learn about:

  • Blades manufacturing processes and products
  • ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Cross-functional collaboration in a global industrial environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or Electronic preferred). A Master’s Degree will also be valued.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good English skills (written and oral)
