Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. You will manage the entire grid connection process, draft HV grid connection applications, and coordinate with design and project teams to ensure compliance with Italian regulations.

The role requires 2–3 years' experience in renewable energy grid connections, knowledge of Terna and E-distribuzione processes, and proficiency in English.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Proven experience in HV substation construction.
• Knowledge of Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
• Good knowledge of electrical design software and Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna).
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support during development and permitting phases (electrical focus).
• Coordinate with legal, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule grid interconnection works.
