Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. You will manage the full grid connection process, draft HV applications, and coordinate with Terna, e-distribuzione, and design teams.

Applicants should have a degree in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of experience in renewable energy grid connections, HV substations, and Italian grid regulations. Hybrid/Remote work with periodic visits to Bologna offices is offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Experience with HV substations and grid works with Italian distributors (Terna, e-distribuzione).

Mansioni

• Manage grid connection process and communicate with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna).
• Draft and submit medium and high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support development, permitting, and electrical design efforts.
• Coordinate with legal, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule interconnection works.
• Assist in tender preparation and contract drafting for grid works.
• Supervise engineering and construction activities related to grid connections.
