Opdenergy seeks a Grid Connection Engineer to support Italian projects. You will manage the grid connection process with operators, draft HV applications, analyze outcomes, and collaborate with legal, permitting, and PM teams.

You’ll estimate costs, coordinate with designers, and assist tendering for interconnection works. Ideal candidates read electrical diagrams well, know Terna and local distributors, and speak fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in electrical/energy engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable plants.
• Experience with HV substations and grid works in Italy.
• Knowledge of Italian grid processes (Terna, e-distribuzione, TICA).
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the complete grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage connection applications.
• Analyze outcomes and verify technical feasibility.
• Assist during development and permitting with electrical focus.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting and project teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule interconnection activities.
• Coordinate with designers on connection-side systems.
• Support tendering for grid interconnection works.
• Evaluate offers and follow up during tendering.
• Prepare contracts to ensure compliance with OPDENERGY rules.
• Oversee engineering/construction activities with PMs and site engineers.
• Participate in commissioning phases; perform site surveys/audits.
