Opdenergy, a growing renewable energy producer, seeks a Grid Connection Engineer to manage grid connection processes in Italy, coordinating with e-distribuzione, Terna and local distributors. Hybrid or remote work with periodic visits to Bologna offices.

The role covers drafting HV connection applications, technical feasibility, project support during permitting, tender activities, and site surveys, interfacing with legal, permitting and project management teams.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Proven experience in constructing HV substations and grid works with Italian distributors.
• Knowledge of Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA) and Terna procedures.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna).
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility of connections.
• Support during development and permitting phases with focus on electrical aspects.
• Coordinate with design, legal, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule interconnection works; oversee tender processes.
