Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. The role focuses on managing the grid interconnection process, drafting HV connection applications, and coordinating with Terna, distributors, and project teams.

You will analyze technical outcomes, support permitting and tender activities, and help supervise construction and commissioning phases across renewables projects. Strong English skills and Italian process knowledge are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Proven experience in HV substations construction and grid works with Italian utilities.
• Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
• Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the full grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verify feasibility.
• Support development and permitting phases with an electrical focus.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule grid interconnection works.
• Coordinate with designers on connection-side systems.
• Support tender processes for grid interconnection works, including reviewing bids.
• Manage engineering and construction activities related to grid connection.
