Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support Italy projects. You will manage the grid connection process, draft HV connection applications, and collaborate with legal, permitting, and project teams to ensure feasible, compliant interconnections.

The role requires 2–3 years in renewable energy electrical connections, HV substations experience, and knowledge of Italian grid procedures. Hybrid or remote work with periodic visits to Bologna offices is offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Experience with HV substations and grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Knowledge of Italian grid connection process (TICA) and Terna procedures.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
• English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit HV grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and feasibility notes.
• Support development, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule grid interconnection works.
• Coordinate with designers and assist tender processes.
• Prepare contracts to ensure compliance with Opdenergy's requirements.
• Supervise engineering and construction activities related to grid connections.
• Participate in commissioning and perform site surveys.
