Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. You will manage the grid connection process, draft HV connection applications, analyze technical feasibility, and support permitting and tender activities.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering, 2–3 years in renewable energy grid connections, and proficiency in English. Hybrid or remote working with periodic office visits is offered.

Competenze

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Knowledge of HV substations construction and grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, project drawings and technical docs.

Mansioni

• Manage the grid connection process end‑to‑end with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna).
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility; support permitting phases.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers and site engineers during development and construction.
• Prepare tender documents, review bids and supervise contracts for grid interconnection works.
