Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support its Italy-based renewable projects. You will manage the full grid connection process, liaise with e-distribuzione, Terna, and local distributors, and draft HV grid connection applications.

You will analyze technical outcomes, support development and permitting phases, coordinate with designers and project managers, and ensure compliance with Italian regulations. Fluent English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Knowledge of Italian grid connection process and Terna relations.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit HV/medium voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support development and permitting phases, electrical focus.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule grid interconnection works.
• Coordinate with designers and support connection-side systems.
• Prepare tender processes and review bids.
• Evaluate offers and follow up during tendering.
• Prepare contracts to ensure works meet OPDENERGY requirements.
• Supervise engineering/construction related to grid works.
• Participate in commissioning phases and conduct site surveys.
