A leading technology firm in Milan, Italy, is seeking an embedded software engineer to work on software development for industrial and automotive systems. The role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded software throughout the full development lifecycle. Ideal candidates have proven skills in C and C++, and experience with embedded programming for Linux or RTOS. Competenze

• Experience in embedded programming for Linux or RTOS.
• Ability to integrate software with hardware components.
• Experience in Model Based Design is desirable.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for various systems.
• Work through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Cooperate with Hardware Engineering for software integration.

Conoscenze

Proven programming skills in C

Proven programming skills in C++

Knowledge of embedded software architecture

Experience with Linux (BuildRoot, Yocto)

Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)

Knowledge of multitasking OS fundamentals

This will make you grow:

• Design, development and testing of embedded software for industrial, automotive systems, and medical devices;
• Work throughout the whole software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to test;
• Cooperate with Hardware Engineering to integrate software with specific hardware components and constraint.

And this is how you'll take us forward:

• Proven programming skills in C, C++;
• Knowledge of embedded software architecture and design;
• Experience in embedded programming, for Linux (BuildRoot, Yocto) or RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.);
• Knowledge of multitasking OS fundamentals;
• Ability to understand the impact of electronic features on low-level software
• Experience in Model Based Design would be desirable.
