Description
The General Finance Specialist focuses on providing finance advice, administration, and activities for the designated business function to support business objectives. The role requires a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in general finance through extensive practical experience. The specialist aims to deliver activities across finance functions to provide insights that support decision-making and planning. Typically, reports to the General Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of activities related to building forecasts, financial plans, and reflecting efficient use of financial resources to achieve financial targets aligned with business objectives.
- Provide finance advice and guidance, and accurately execute administrative activities.
- Inform and educate business units on financial governance principles, ensuring compliance with Vodafone financial policies and frameworks.
- Work effectively with colleagues, providing first-class financial expertise to business units to assist with financial decisions and operations, driving return on investment.
- Use communication skills to exchange ideas and information concisely and logically, supporting the delivery of business insights and demonstrating excellent finance acumen to support internal customers with financial evaluations.

- Support maintaining solid relationships with internal partners.

- Experience in preparing presentations for senior management
Credentials & Experience
- Experience in the digital and telecom industry
- Proven experience in decision support or as a commercial analyst, preferably in the telecom industry, with a strong analytical background
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, changing environment
