This role will report to the Field Service Manager and is based in the Turin metropolitan area or the western Milan suburbs, Italy. Candidates must have easy access to the Turin or Milan airport.

Role and Responsibilities
- Provide fuel‑cell service during field‑visit dispatches.
- Operate a service vehicle safely.
- Create daily workflows from scheduled tasks and work autonomously.
- Manage on‑site preventative maintenance, repairs, testing and diagnostic tasks.
- Follow company procedures and protocols.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine/implement proper solutions.
- Cooperate with a technical team and share information across the organization.
- Comprehend and follow customer access requirements.
- Maintain service vehicle and spare‑part inventory.
- Maintain/build positive relationships with customers.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports as required.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Required to reside within the Service District.
- Complete two initial training sessions of up to four weeks each in San José, CA.
- Feel comfortable working on a platform at heights up to 5 m.
Education and Experience
- High‑school diploma plus 6 years of experience in electrical, process controls or electro‑mechanical fields.
- OR a technical diploma, journeyman certification, electrician certification in a technical field and relevant industry experience of 4 years (electrician, electronics technician, field service, technician, test engineer, etc.).
- OR 5 years or more relevant experience in commercial electrical combined with electrical‑related military experience (e.g., Navy Nuclear Electronics/Electrical Technician, other technical position, military‑certified electrician or technician, gas turbine electrician).
Skills and Experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards, especially those related to electrical work.
- Prior experience as an electrical technician working with three‑phase systems, uninterruptible power supplies, electrical generation and distribution systems, power electronics, automatic transfer switches, and microprocessor‑based control platforms.
- Experience with various electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Able to read and interpret electrical single‑line diagrams and blueprints.
- Experience performing equipment maintenance in accordance with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power.
- Mechanical system aptitude, including troubleshooting/repair skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in the resolution of complex problems.
- Team player who exhibits a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Communicates written and verbal English effectively.
- Able to execute written and verbal procedures and sequenced work instructions.
- Able to regularly handle equipment up to 25 kg.
- Able to reach, squat, bend, and twist during the work day.
- Able to use a ladder or stepstool regularly.
- Able to facilitate 24×7 on‑call duty.
- Able to facilitate shift work as needed.
- Able to work alternative schedules (e.g., one week/month of Wednesday‑Sunday).
- Able to support overtime to achieve quarterly goals.
- Able to travel (drive) throughout a large Service District.
- Able to travel occasionally to other U.S. and international destinations.
- Able to maintain a driving record in good standing.
