A leading company in the Space and Defense sector is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies for satellite-based sensing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong C / C++ programming skills, experience with Linux OS or RTOS, and proficiency with laboratory instruments. This is a full-time role located in Milan or Rome, offering an exciting chance to work on next-generation on-board and ground systems.

Embedded Software Engineer – Responsibilities

• Design robust sequential and object‑oriented C / C++ software applications for RTOS and Linux embedded systems
• Develop and debug device drivers in both kernel and user space
• Build custom embedded Linux OS for heterogeneous multiprocessing SoC devices
• Perform signal analysis using laboratory instruments (Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, VNA, etc.)
