A leading engineering firm in Italy seeks a dedicated Electrical Engineer to oversee project deliverables related to power systems. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and fluency in English. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with project standards, developing technical documentation, and managing vendor activities. This position may involve domestic and international travel for extended periods.

Descrizione del lavoro

He/She guarantees, within the assigned project, the assigned activities related to specialized topics such as complex components and systems or control and monitoring of the electrical power system. He/She might be dedicated full time or part-time to the project according to the specific needs. The Specialist reports functionally to the Project Leader or the Group Leader for the peculiarities of the project and hierarchically to Head of Department for man-hours and the quality of the deliverables.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• To guarantee the quality of the deliverables generated and their compliance with the contractual requirements of the project contracts satisfying the time schedule;
• To assist the Group Leader or the Head of Department in guaranteeing the application and the continuous updating of the department and company standards, procedures and work instructions;
• To develop the overall activities related to the assigned tasks within the assigned projects, including production of specifications, reports and other design documents, technical management of the supply of components and systems and to secure assistance, if required, during factory testing and start-up on site.
• To follow up the post order activities of itemized equipment (HV/LV Switchgears, Power and Distribution Transformers, AC/DC UPS…) by checking and commenting the Vendor Documents and making sure they are in line with project requirements.

Personal Attributes:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or High School Diploma in Electrotechnics with adequate additional experience
• minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering in engineering companies or manufacturers of electrical machinery or switchgear
• fluent English speaker and writer
• availability to travel even for long periods in Italy and abroad
