A leading engineering firm in Milano is seeking an Electrical Protection & Control Specialist to support project teams in detailed design of High Voltage, Medium Voltage, and Low Voltage switchgears. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, familiarity with communication protocols, and a strong team orientation in a multicultural environment. Fluency in English and good knowledge of MS Office are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with electrical protection and control systems.

Mansioni

• Support project teams for detailed design of switchgears.
• Develop project single line diagrams and architecture block diagrams.
• Assist during technical bid evaluations and vendor follow-ups.

Conoscenze

Responsibilities and main activities

Electrical Protection & Control Specialist shall support project teams for detailed design of High Voltage, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage switchgears, including development of Project Single Line Diagram , Protection & Metering and typical schematic diagrams and logics. The candidate will support project teams in developing the architecture block diagram and IO List of the Electrical and Monitoring Control System.

The candidate will support project teams during Technical bid evaluation and vendor follow up including support to inspection during functional tests at Vendor premises.

Required skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Secondary School Diploma in Electronic Engineering
• The candidate shall have experience in communication protocols such as : Modbus, ProfiNet, Profibus, IEC61850, etc.
• Knowledge of Intelligent Electronic Devices available on the market.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good English required.
• Attitude toward teamwork in multicultural environment and effective teaming.
