Overview

Docking Planner – Maritime Industry | Genoa, Italy

On behalf of a leading maritime company based in Genoa, Italy, we are currently seeking an experienced Docking Planner / Project Planner to join their technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and performance of a growing fleet.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed dry dock plans and schedules for company vessels
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to align on requirements and timelines
• Monitor progress during dry dock periods, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety, and budget
• Maintain accurate records and post-docking reports to support continuous improvement
• Contribute technical insight to project planning and risk assessment

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in project planning, ideally within a maritime or ship repair environment
• A strong technical background (marine engineering, naval architecture, or similar) is preferred
• Familiarity with dry dock processes and vessel maintenance operations
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Based in or willing to relocate to Genoa, Italy
