A leading IT consultancy firm is seeking a Security Specialist to design and implement security controls, monitor security events, and ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and will have expertise in network security, incident response, and automation using various scripting languages. This role is based in Rome with potential international travel involved.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH, OSCP, and CompTIA Security+.

Mansioni

• Design and implement security controls for networks, systems, and applications.
• Monitor and analyze security events, manage incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Support execution of penetration testing and risk assessments.
• Automate security processes using scripting languages.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes.

Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)

Application security and vulnerability analysis (OWASP)
