Competenze

Job Description

The individual will autonomously coordinate and supervise all activities outlined in the framework contract for predictive maintenance, lubrication, and performance analysis of rotating machinery in a refinery environment. The Site Manager will be the technical and operational point of reference for the client, ensuring service quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction. The work location will be at the Client’s facilities.

Main Contract Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the on-site technical team (lubricators, vibration analysts, maintenance technicians)
  • Continuous monitoring of safety, quality, and environmental impact
  • Planning and supervision of activities including:
  • Predictive maintenance (vibration, thermography)
  • Lubrication and oil analysis
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), identifying failure causes and proposing solutions in collaboration with engineering
  • Field rotor alignment and balancing
  • Minor mechanical maintenance
  • Validation and optimization of control and lubrication plans
  • Management of technical reporting and monthly KPIs
  • Point of contact between client and company, managing billing activities for both the base scope and additional tasks
  • Training of operational staff and support for technical team development
  • Maintenance of vibration database and condition monitoring software

The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and autonomously managing the predictive and preventive maintenance service based on client needs, training the team on operational activities, especially those related to vibration analysis (correct sensor placement, fault diagnosis, misalignment, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or similar)
  • ≥ 10 years of experience in condition monitoring, reliability, and industrial maintenance
  • Previous experience managing maintenance teams
  • ISO 18436 CAT2 certification (vibration analysis)
  • Training for working in confined spaces will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of maintenance policies for operating machinery, preferably in petrochemical/energy sectors. Knowledge of rotating machinery, mechanical seals, and lubrication systems is a plus
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Leadership, communication, and team management skills
