A leading packaging solutions company in Parma seeks a highly skilled developer to maintain and evolve the product configurator. You will engage in programming, debugging, and user support tasks, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a degree in engineering or similar. Fluency in English and Italian is essential. This position may involve short travel.

Competenze

• Degree in engineering, math, computer science, or technical high school acceptable.

Your opportunity

Development and maintenance of Sidel product configurator according to product evolution.

Your Mission

• Programming of new product configuration model, mapping and translating technical specifications into configurator rules;
• Debugging and updating of the existing configurators according to products evolution;
• To coordinate and to cooperate strictly with consultants in the area of his/her responsibility, to assure the availability of each module of the configurator to the users according to the schedule/budget;
• Documentation update;
• Users support.

Your Profile

Education & Languages

• Degree in engineering/math/computer science or similar experience (technical high school degree will also be considered);
• Fluent in English and Italian: French and other languages are a plus.

Professional Skills & Experience

• The position requires a high degree of intellectual capacity and inclination to solve mathematical problems;
• Basic knowledge & technical understanding of Sidel portfolio is a valuable plus;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Experience of configuration modelling in configurators engines is highly evaluated;
• Knowledge of other computer programming languages is a plus;
• Self-sufficient and proactive;
• Good communication and people interrelationship;
• Must be available for short travel.
