A leading European nutraceutical company is seeking a Commercial Excellence Manager for the Italy-Romania region. In this role, you will implement sales strategies, analyze sales data to drive growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in commercial excellence or sales, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in tools like PowerBI and CRM. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market is essential. This position is based in Milan, Italy.

With a view to strengthening our Commercial area, we are offering an opportunity as Commercial Excellence Manager for the Region Italy-Romania.

The Commercial Excellence Manager, directly reporting to Regional Director, will play a pivotal role in leading commercial business initiatives to drive growth through improved efficiency and standardized practices, in both Medical and Consumer.

Additionally, the Commercial Excellence function serves as the Project Lead for various strategic organizational processes and selling initiatives, aiming at achieving and exceeding Uriach annual revenue, growth and profitability targets.

Be prepared to:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored for the different channels (medical, pharmacy, wholesalers, e-commerce) ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leaders to optimize sales processes, drive efficiency, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Implement performance management systems and Key Performance Indicators to supervise sales performance.
  • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth, providing actionable insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between different departments to streamline processes and achieve common goals effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to gather insights into market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Use market insights to advise strategic decision-making and drive sales growth in the region.
For this role we require:
  • Experience of at least 3 years in commercial excellence / salesforce effectiveness / business analytics roles, plus a consolidated experience in sales as medical representative or medical area manager, preferably in a structured international company.
  • Field experience in the pharmacy channel will be considered a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or science subjects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and of the characteristics of various distribution channels.
  • Analytical and quantitative mindset with data driven and business oriented approach.
  • Results-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills at different levels.
  • An excellent knowledge of data analysis tools (PowerBI, CRM) and excellent knowledge of the English language complete the profile.
