We are seeking a high-energy, consumer-obsessed Product Manager (PM) to contribute to the growth of De'Longhi Coffee Category portfolio. This role impacts the entire product development, from ideation and understanding consumer needs to product launch, and acts as a key stakeholder for a flawless market launch execution. You will be the central figure within the Marketing Community for the Coffee Machines segment, synthesizing deep market understanding and consumer needs into a clear innovative vision. Success in this role requires a strategic thinker who can inspire, align, and influence multi-disciplinary global teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-impact products that solidify De'Longhi's leadership in the global coffee space.

Main Responsibilities

This role is structured around the three core pillars of a high-impact PM, with a strong emphasis on consumer insight and cross-functional leadership:

  1. Product Ideation & Vision
    • Investigate the Consumer Voice: Collaborate with the Consumer Journey & Marketing Data Engine teams to deeply analyze global market trends, competitive movements, and consumer segmentation/needs within the Coffee category. Translate these insights into a product innovation roadmap.
    • Ideation & Concept Generation: Define breakthrough product concepts and features that address unmet consumer needs and align with De'Longhi's premium brand promise.
    • Portfolio Strategy: Strongly contribute to define and manage a balanced product portfolio - spanning all life cycles - to maximize sustainable growth, market share and brand equity.
  2. Product Development & Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Product Definition: Create clear, compelling Product Requirements Documents, detailing the core consumer problem, market opportunity, and all necessary functional/design specifications.
    • Drive Alignment: Influence Engineering, Design, Project Management, and Quality functions with regards to the product vision and critical milestones (on-time, on-cost, on-spec) of New Product Development (NPD) projects.
  3. Product Launch
    • Market Introduction: Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to implement the global commercial launch plan, providing specific inputs on category entry points, consumer triggers and barriers, portfolio management, developing physical and digital planograms, and ensuring impactful POS for successful in-store and online execution.
    • Performance Analysis: Internally collect data to continuously monitor sales and profitability performance, market growth, consumer satisfaction and competitive activity (using GfK, internal data, etc.) to inform ongoing strategy and tactical commercial interventions.
Job Profile
Qualifications
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing or category management, trade marketing or a similar marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: product ideation and compelling product concepts development and/or in-store product planograms and innovative shelf executions
  • Good leadership and influencing skills
  • High proficiency in analytical thinking, business planning, and financial acumen (P&L understanding, forecasting, GfK/Nielsen data interpretation)
  • Fluency in English is required for effective collaboration with core teams and markets
  • A true consumer obsession with a proven ability to think creatively about product innovation
Preferred
  • Direct experience within the Coffee or Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) industry is a plus. Other preferred industries: Consumer Durables, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Food & beverage, Cosmetics or Apparel
  • Experience managing global product launches for a premium brand
  • Proven experience in a local subsidiary, actively contributing to the development and execution of the Local Marketing Plan
