Auberge Collection is seeking a Chef de Rang for its Florence property, Collegio alla Querce, a hilltop Italian retreat offering stunning views of Florence and Tuscany. This full-time role focuses on delivering refined, seamless service and elevating guest dining experiences in a luxury setting.

You will take orders, upsell thoughtfully, and work with a prestigious culinary team to ensure flawless service across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
• Prior experience in a luxury hospitality property is highly recommended.
• Good knowledge of food and wine with the ability to provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Professional appearance, polished manner, and strong interpersonal skills for a fast-paced team.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
• Build genuine connections with guests to ensure satisfaction and personalized service.
• Upsell menu items while adhering to service standards.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings and provide informed recommendations.
• Accurately take and input orders into the POS and manage billing with precision.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service flow.
• Operate and maintain restaurant equipment safely and hygienically.
