For our EC&S division, Danfoss is looking for a Global Category Manager – Electronics . The mission of this role is to develop and implement global strategies for the electronics category, focusing on cost optimization, supplier quality, and ensuring operational continuity. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to ensure resilience in the supply chain and leverage state-of-the-art technologies in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Development and implementation of global strategies for the Electronics category, ensuring cost, quality, and innovation targets are met.
  • Analysis and management of supplier data to support the identification and qualification of new suppliers aligned with the EC&S strategy, assisting in their onboarding process and ensuring compliance with legal, quality, and commercial requirements.
  • Collaboration with global teams, Production, and R&D, to optimize the supplier portfolio and meet technical requirements.
  • Analysis of supplier performance through defined KPIs, leveraging data with a critical and strategic mindset to identify issues and propose actionable solutions and improvements that drive meaningful results.
  • Communication with suppliers, internal customers, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress, risks, and project challenges.
  • Facilitation of structured problem-solving processes to ensure operational continuity.
What We’re Looking For
  • Academic background in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent culture.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, gained in internationally structured environments within the electronics and / or IoT sectors. Experience in procurement within a Global EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a solid understanding of technical production processes within a global ecosystem, is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with international stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge not only of electronic products but also of the entire system, including the processes and technologies that underpin it. The ability to understand the global functioning of electronics, from component integration to complete and advanced solutions, in an increasingly interconnected context.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and dynamics within the electronics industry.
  • Ability to work independently and in intercultural teams, with a problem-solving attitude, flexibility, and strong goal orientation.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
