Overview
Position Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst
Department: BU ELS / Underwriting / Underwriting Sales & Partnerships
Reporting Line: Underwriting Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with internal risk policies and procedures
- Conduct expert analysis and evaluation of financing applications (short and medium-term), in line with applicable procedures and Group credit policies, issuing decisions within delegated authority or escalating as appropriate
- Review and monitor requests and decision-making delegations assigned to national contributors
- Assess contractual amendments and requests related to the existing credit portfolio
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of risks associated with the BU portfolio
- Oversee credit-related matters in joint ventures and strategic partnerships
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Economics or Quantitative Sciences
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in credit risk assessment within leasing, financial services, or banking institutions
- In-depth understanding of credit evaluation principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with debt restructuring processes and Public Administration procedures is considered an asset
- Strong skills in financial and budgetary analysis
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and / or French
- Demonstrated autonomy in managing assigned tasks and making decisions within delegated authority
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders
- High level of reliability and commitment to achieving objectives within established deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize complex information
