An Italian research institute in Genoa is looking for a researcher in computer science for a full-time position. The successful candidate will maintain and develop the chemical informatics infrastructure, manage the underlying databases, and support users. Essential qualifications include a Master's degree and knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL. A gross salary of €25,000 to €30,000 is offered annually, with options for teleworking and flexible hours.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, Docker, Oracle SQL, Kubernetes and Git.
• Good knowledge of English and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Mansioni

• Main maintainer and developer of the chemical informatics infrastructure.
• Manage and develop codes and databases underlying the infrastructure.
• Interact with IIT users to support troubleshooting and new feature development.

Conoscenze

Linux system administration knowledge

Knowledge of Apptainer/Docker systems

Knowledge of Oracle SQL

Knowledge of Kubernetes

Knowledge of Git versioning system

Good knowledge of the English language

Accuracy and good analytical skills
