We are looking for
  • Associate HR Manager - Tenuta di Artimino Melia Collection (Maternity Cover)
Responsibilities
  • To actively contribute to providing a pro-active, effective and business focused Human Resource solutions and to manage the day to day operations of the Human Resources Department on property.
  • Serve as the key HR contact for all staff and HODs, ensuring personalized support on professional concerns, documentation, and coaching needs.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to identify staff aspirations, development opportunities, and conflicts, feeding into talent and training strategies.
  • Monitor departmental compliance with safety regulations and HR policies through regular inspections and audits; provide updates to HR Manager and GM.
  • Partner with GMs and HODs to support employee lifecycle decisions including promotions, development, and disciplinary processes.
  • Represent the hotel in HR-related interactions with external entities (educational institutions, temp agencies, authorities).
  • Support job requisitions, recruitment campaigns, and visibility of job posts across internal and external platforms.
  • Organize and participate in employer branding events such as student visits and CSR initiatives.
  • Coordinate internship programs, aligning needs with OC and overseeing intern performance evaluations.
  • Collect and promote visual storytelling content (photos / videos) for the Meliá Careers platform.
  • Implement and track the hotel’s annual training plan in collaboration with Associate L&D Manager.
  • Facilitate induction, buddy programs, and onboarding logistics to ensure a positive start for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate records of talent mapping and training KPIs.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Deliver training, PPE, and risk documentation to staff and monitor adherence.
  • Manage investigations of workplace incidents and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Oversee employee structural alignment and ensure correct input of data for payroll, absence tracking, and contract management.
  • Maintain knowledge of national labor laws and ensure consistent compliance in HR practices.
  • Support audits, labor inspections, and termination processes in consultation with legal counsel or Labour Relations.
  • Support the HR department in budget planning and forecasts.
  • Track economic performance indicators and align HR strategies with financial outcomes.
