A leading technology firm is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the production operations. Responsibilities include participating in new product design, designing testing tools, and defining production procedures. The ideal candidate has an Electronic Engineering degree and 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in tooling design.

Competenze

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Company, preferred in tooling design.

Datalogic is offering a AME HW Test Engineer role, reporting to the AME Manager, he / she will collaborate with the Operations Engineering area.

Role Mission:

The AME HW Test Engineer supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, a department that links R&D and Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate to New Products design team, together with R&D and Quality, taking care of the "design for manufacturability and testability”
  • Design Testing tools and the Automated machines for the manufacturing plants
  • Define assembling and testing procedures for production, estimating manufacturing cost, fixing time standards, and making the most cost-effective choices for tooling and processes
  • Support the new product introduction in the plants
  • Troubleshooting activities and production support

Requirements:

  • Education: Electronic Engineering or other technical Post Graduate degree
  • Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Company, preferred in tooling design.
