RH is seeking a detail‑oriented Receiver to ensure the integrity and organization of all culinary deliveries and storage systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, values precision, and takes pride in creating a seamless and elevated back‑of‑house experience. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting service excellence by maintaining RH’s standards for product quality, inventory accuracy, and food safety.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately receive all deliveries and ensure proper handling and storage of food, beverage, and non-food items
  • Identify and report any incorrect, missing, or inferior‑quality products to leadership
  • Maintain a pristine and code‑compliant environment across all culinary storage and receiving areas
  • Partner with the Culinary Leadership Team to complete monthly inventories and assist with daily cost tracking
  • Communicate ordering and supply needs in a timely manner to support operational efficiency
  • Assist with both onsite and off‑site hospitality events, as needed
  • Cultivate a working knowledge of RH’s culinary and beverage offerings to support alignment across service and supply
OUR REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years of experience in receiving, culinary operations, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Foodager (or comparable inventory management systems), email communication, and effective reading and comprehension
  • Knowledge of basic food handling, product identification, and food safety standards
  • Experience reading and interpreting order guides and invoices
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, self‑directed contributor who shares ideas, takes ownership, and supports team success
  • Meets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts, and perform the full scope of kitchen responsibilities, in accordance with local labor and safety regulations
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of application at time of hire
  • Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines, grooming, and hygiene practices, to ensure a professional presentation to guests
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as business needs require
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below counter height
  • Lifting or moving items up to 25 kg using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques
  • Standing and walking for extended periods as part of daily work activities
  • Work performed in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen environment, including exposure to high and low temperatures and movement through busy work areas
  • Hearing and responding to verbal instructions, kitchen communications, and safety alerts necessary for safe and effective operations
  • Safely ascending and descending stairs, with or without carrying food, beverages, or service equipment
  • Ongoing adherence to safety, sanitation, and food‑handling standards in a commercial kitchen environment
