We are seeking a MySQL Database Administrator to join our team in Guwahati. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and ensure the availability and performance of our MySQL databases. The role requires expertise in database tuning, backup, and recovery, supporting our complex data environments across various platforms and technologies.

• Expertise in MySQL with proven experience in performance tuning and backup and recovery processes (Mandatory skill).
• Solid understanding of SQL for writing and optimizing queries, procedures, and functions essential for database operations.
• Experience with Oracle Database to manage and configure database instances and associated resources effectively.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for seamless cross-platform data integration and management.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, enabling the support of diverse storage models within the organization.
• Experience working with cloud databases, supporting scalable deployment and performance monitoring in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot database issues promptly and ensure minimal downtime.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide database solutions that meet business requirements.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MySQL Community and Enterprise Database
• Good knowledge of MYSQL architecture
• Knowledge on MYSQL replication Master-Master and Master slave and troubleshooting
• Must have knowledge of setting MYSQL clustering, tuning, troubleshooting
• Must have good knowledge of Performance tuning of MYSQL databases.
• Must have good knowledge of MYSQL database up-gradation
• Installation and configuration of MYSQL on Linux, Windows.
• Understanding MYSQL Backup & Recovery.
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organize and plan work independently.
• Ability to automate day-to-day tasks with Unix shell scripting.
