Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, test management, requirements analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and UI/UX documents to create effective test plans and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Sanity, and End-to-End testing.
• Execute test cases, track defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Reports, and Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman (Basic to Intermediate).
• Review test cases prepared by team members and ensure high-quality coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Scrum Meetings, and Retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA members and ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
• Provide regular status reports and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
• Work closely with Product, Development, and Business Teams to understand quality expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, Mantis, or similar.
• Experience with test management tools: TestRail, Zephyr, QTest.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend/database testing (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Basic understanding of API testing (Postman).
• Experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
