Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children Team
Location: Dudley
Rate: Competitive
A Children’s Social Worker is required to join Dudley’s Children in Service Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Completing Children and Family Assessments
- Conducting Section 47 enquiries
- Care Planning and pathway planning
- Completing risk assessments and safety planning
- Writing reports for LAC reviews
- Attending PEP meetings
- Writing initial court statements and care plans
- Applying for care orders and revocation of care orders
- Engaging in pre-proceedings and care proceedings
- Conducting viability assessments and sibling assessments
- Working with young people at home on care orders or in foster care
Requirements:
- You must hold a Social Work England registration
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have post-qualified experience
- Possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
