Job summary
A local healthcare provider is seeking a confident Acting Senior Care & Support Worker to deliver exceptional care in Leeds. The role requires working 42 hours per week, primarily nights, and involves leading a team, allocating duties, and providing both physical and emotional support to service users. We are looking for a confident Acting Senior Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will work 42 hours a week, nights only, including alternate weekends, at Gotts Park.
The role includes support shifts and senior shifts: allocating duties, giving medication, leading the team and supporting management.
Day-to-day duties for acting senior support worker:
- Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service.
- Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely.
Day-to-day duties for support worker:
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
- Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
- Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required.

- Maintain a safe & clean environment for all.
