Day Services Support Worker

Are you a passionate Day Service Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Day Service Support Worker to work in a service based in Halifax.

Pay Rates : £13.26 - £17.14 Umbrella Rates

Information the Role :

Successful candidates will be offered 37.5 hours per week for 12 month initially with views to extend, working Monday-Friday from 08:30am – 5pm.

Candidates must be able to commute to Higgins Close, Halifax, HX1 2ES. Lower Edge Day Centre, Shannon Road, Rastrick, HD6 3LD and Royd Square, Bond Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 7DE.

Skills & Professional Characteristics needed :

Residents have some very complex needs, including mental and physical injuries so vast experience, community care, residential care, supported living experience is required.

Creativity to get involved in different activities – outgoing personality – personal care, emotional support but mainly your ability to keep people occupied and entertained and out of the house.

Essential Requirements :

• Experience working with primary health needs, don't need to be registered nurses but clinical experience would be good.
• NVQ L2 / 3 would be ideal to show they have the knowledge basis.
• Driver is desirable but non-essential.
