This is a chance to join a fast-growing, mission-driven company and play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering team. You’ll work closely with leadership, have direct access to hiring managers, and be part of building a high-bar technical org during a critical growth phase.

• Lead and execute our annual performance review process, compensation planning, and promotion cycles
• Manage employee relations and support managers with coaching and development
• Design and roll out employee surveys and follow-up action planning to strengthen engagement
• Build training and development programs, including manager enablement and career growth frameworks
• Maintain and evolve people policies, documentation, and compliance practices in partnership with legal
• Partner on compensation strategy, equity allocation, and benchmarking tools like Pave
• Improve internal processes and systems for onboarding, off-boarding, and employee lifecycle operations
• Support HRIS administration and reporting

• A desire to create a world-class environment for all of Eve's team members
• Experience in People Operations or HR generalist roles at a fast-paced, high-growth startup
• Strong background in performance management, compensation planning, and employee lifecycle systems
• High integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive situations
• Familiarity with California and multi-state employment laws
• Passion for building scalable people systems and documentation
• Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset

• Experience independently managing complex HR initiatives
• An eye for operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Empathy and clear communication across all levels of the organization
• A calm, thoughtful presence when navigating ambiguity or conflictFamiliarity with tools like Pave, TriNet, or comparable HR platforms
• Willingness to do whatever it takes for the People Operations Team to succeed, no job is too small or out of your scope
