A healthcare service provider in Greater London is seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to provide high-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) within their Talking Therapies service. The role involves client assessment and formulating therapy programmes while undergoing a structured training programme. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract at pay band 6, with an emphasis on delivering excellent mental health care and supporting employee wellbeing.
Candidates will have experience of working in mental health settings and will have either a registered graduate qualification in nursing, social work or occupational therapy or evidence of using the career framework of training in mental health and experience of working in a stepped care service for anxiety and depression as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.
All positions will be offered at pay band 6 on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. The post-holder will work in the service for 3 days of the week whilst attending the training programme for the other two days.
This is a training role within the Enfield NHS Talking Therapies service (formerly known as IAPT). The post-holder will work within the Talking Therapies service providing high‑intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post‑holder to provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for clients with a range of complex problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post‑holder will work in the service for 3 days of the week using the newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme for the other two days with Royal Holloway, University of London.
This post will report to and be supported by the Enfield NHS Talking Therapies Clinical Team Leads.
