Neway International are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join the Children's Assessment team based with Powys Council.

Location: Ty Brycheiniog, Brecon Enterprise Park, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8BT
Employer: Powys County Council – Children’s Services
Employment Type: Temporary (12 weeks)
Hours: 37 per week
Start Date: 8 December

PAYE: £29.22 per hour
Umbrella/Ltd: £37.51 per hour

Role Overview

Powys County Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Assessment South team within Children’s Services. This is a temporary assignment providing essential support to the service during a period of long-term sickness cover.

You will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families, ensuring assessments are completed to a high standard and in line with statutory requirements.
