A leading fresh produce supplier in Ingham, England, is seeking a full-time forklift operative. The role requires a current UK counterbalance Forklift licence and proven experience in warehouse operations. Qualifications

- Must live locally and have own transport due to the location and early starts.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily forklift check sheet.
- Process Glasshouse products, ensuring safe transit and labeling.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Report discrepancies in goods received and dispatched.
- Operate forklift trucks safely as per training.

Working closely with an established network of growers both at home and abroad, we are able to deliver quality products to major retailers, catering companies and the UK wholesale markets throughout the year. --------------------------------------------------- We are looking for a UK based, full-time forklift operative with previous experience essential and you will need a current UK counterbalance Forklift licence. You will be required to work Monday to Friday with some overtime and some Saturday's during the busy seasonal months. --------------------------------------------------- Duties include:
- Ensure forklift check sheet completed daily.
- Receiving and processing of Glasshouse products from suppliers. This includes wrapping and safe transit of product, ensuring label adherence, and final inventory checks.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Maintains a safe clean working environment within the service area.
- Report any discrepancies both on goods in and despatch.
- Communicate with management team and co-colleagues alike.
- Operates warehouse equipment including forklift trucks in a safe manner as per training.
- Follows dock safety procedures when loading and unloading containers.
- Complete daily checks on tipping machine, check sensors and report any faults.
- Ensure tipping machine is loaded and unloaded in a timely manner to ensure continuous thru put.
- Ensure fruit colours are not accidently mixed.
- Empty green tipper bins daily.
- Assist block managers with any forklift duties as requested.
- Current up-to-date UK counterbalance Forklift licence.
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker.
- Proficiency in literacy and mathematics.
- Good organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, reliable and flexible.
- Able to plan organise and co-ordinate multiple tasks.
- Able to work on own initiative and in isolation.
- Due to location and early starts, someone who lives local with their own transport.
