Role Overview:

As the Head of Dynamics Business Applications Sales, you will lead and manage the sales team responsible for driving the growth of our Dynamics 365 business applications. You will develop and implement sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and ensure the successful achievement of sales targets. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on involvement in high-profile sales engagements.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?

  1. Experience: Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with a strong track record of success in selling Dynamics 365 business applications.
  2. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  3. Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 business applications and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  5. Client Focus: Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
  6. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales metrics to inform sales strategies.
  7. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively and creatively.
  8. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  9. Results-Driven: A strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

As a Head of Dynamics Business Application Sales, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Dynamics Business Applications sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business goals and drive growth in the Dynamics 365 business applications market.
  3. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets, monitoring performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  5. Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and a seamless client experience.
  7. Proposal Management: Oversee the development of high-quality proposals, including RFP/RFI responses, estimates, and sales collateral.
  8. Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, working with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
  9. Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of marketing content, including whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.
  10. Training and Development: Ensure continuous training and development of the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge of Dynamics 365 products.
