We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller for a not-for-profit organisation based in Richmond. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health of the organisation.

Description
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the organisation by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Develop budgets that meet the requirements of department heads.
- Ensure the organisation's financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Implement innovative and efficient financial processes to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
- Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or education sector.
- Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
