This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects, applying your expertise in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and general build while driving value, cost efficiency, and commercial success.
- Manage all cost aspects of M&E projects and wider construction schemes
- Prepare tender submissions, cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
- Control budgets and monitor project profitability
- Provide accurate commercial reports and advice to stakeholders
- Support contract negotiations and procurement strategies
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with strong M&E background
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Experience pricing general build projects
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control expertise
- Proficient in MS Excel and measurement software
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with local authorities, housing associations, or public sector clients
