THE KEY BITS

-Location: We can currently only accept applications from candidates that are located and have long-term working rights in the UK.

-Flexibility: We have an office hub in the UK as well as no-office hubs in several European countries. We operate a choice-first work approach that lets you work fully remotely from Day One even if you're near an office hub.

-Salary: We benchmarked ca. £100-110,000 + equity at MN2 level in our progression framework for someone based in the UK.

-Interviews: 4 stages totalling around 3.5 hours over 2-3 weeks.

-Start date: As soon as you can start.

Legal tech is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs estimating that 44% of legal tasks can be automated with generative AI. With the brand we have built and the agility of early stage we are well placed to capture this opportunity.

We've got a strong product and a smart team - now we need sharp design leadership to match.

There are core UX challenges to tackle, a design system to shape, and meaningful opportunities to define how AI delivers real value to our customers. We're looking for a hands-on design leader-someone who solves complex problems with craft and clarity, and inspires others to do their best work.

This is a hybrid role: part hands-on product designer, part team leader. You'll lead and grow a talented team of four, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and help shape the future of design at Juro. -Clear, confident communicators who bring a strong design perspective into cross-functional conversations

-Leaders who emphasise coaching by example and care deeply about growing people, not just shipping work

-A mindset for innovation - willing to challenge the status quo and explore bold, customer-centered solutions

On top of that, you have been part of a journey where:

-You've worked in SaaS (ideally at a startup or stage-relevant company).

-You've managed designers directly and had some people leadership experience.

-You've built or evolved a design system that supports consistency and scale.

-You've worked closely with senior leadership and helped define product or company-level design direction.

-You've led or contributed to user research and customer discovery.

-You're fluent in Figma and treat it as your primary design tool.

-You've designed AI-powered experiences or used AI to enhance your own design process.

-You've collaborated cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer teams.

Bonus points if:

-You're curious about how the legal space works (no prior experience needed, but it's a plus).

This job likely isn't for you if:

-You want to be purely a people manager and stay out of the hands-on work.

-You're not comfortable getting stuck into complex design problems.

-You don't see yourself building or advocating for design at a strategic level.

Juro exists to help the world agree faster by making legal contracts frictionless, collaborative and accessible.

Juro's intelligent contract automation platform is on its way to de-throning desktop tools as the paradigm for collaborating on legal documentation around the world.

We're doing that by rebuilding contracts from the ground-up around a browser-native experience, augmenting workflows with powerful AI and enabling all teams to conduct contracting jobs faster than ever before.
